Tal Yossefi, DMD

Dr. Tal Yossefi’s training in dental medicine and passion for performing the utmost professional and comprehensive treatment spanned on for more than two decades, starting abroad and continuing on in the U.S. As a young adult, being drawn to working with his hands, appreciation for beauty and with the desire to help mankind; he took a leap of faith and chose to be a dental technician. This position allowed him feel like he was drawing, sculpting and creating using his hands, intriguing him to diversify his knowledge by pursuing for doctor of dental medicine degree, he successfully graduated from a European dental school and began practicing as a dentist.

In 2007, Dr. Tal brought his family to the United States and eagerly earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the top rated University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. He then completed his post graduate general residency program at the Jamaica Hospital in New York.

As a passionate and dedicated professional, Dr. Tal attends numerous continuing education courses each year to further his dental education and stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and techniques in the dental field. He is also an active member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Connecticut State Dental Association and American Orthodontics association.

When time allows, Dr. Tal enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, swimming and biking.

After completing dental school in Europe at the Lithuanian University of Health sciences, Dr. Elad Yossefi practiced in Europe for few years prior to moving to the United States. In 2013 Dr. Elad moved with his wife to New York and graduated the highly ranked NYU dental school with honors. Throughout his college years he participated in multiple outreaches to undeserved areas in Ecuador and Mexico by providing the community with basic dental care. Following graduation, Dr. Elad continues to deliver his service to communities by volunteering in local dental organizations in NY and CT. His drive to dentistry led him to St. Barnabas hospital where he successfully completed a training in a trauma 1 center with a heavy emphasis on surgery and implant dentistry.

Dr. Elad is an active member of the AGD (Academy of general dentistry), ADA (American dental association), AAID (American academy of implant dentistry) and the AAED (American academy of esthetic dentistry). He is always improving and diversifying his knowledge by attending numerous continuing education courses and study clubs in order to provide the most current hi-tech dentistry to his patients.

When he is not helping patients achieve a better dental health and beautiful smile, Dr. Elad loves spending time with his wife Anna and his son Elroy. As a family they enjoy traveling, photography, exercise and outdoor activities.

Victor Terranova, DMD

Dr. Victor Terranova received his BA from Rutgers College of Rutgers University in New Jersey. He received his DMD from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in 1972 and his MS and PhD in Molecular Biology at the University of Rochester in 1978. Specialty training in Periodontolgy was completed at the Eastman Dental Center of Strong Memorial Hospital, affiliated with the University of Rochester under the mentor of Dr. Helmut A. Zander in 1976.

After his training Dr. Terranova spent seven years as Senior Staff at the National Institutes of Health and National Institute of Dental Research.

His academic appointments include professorships at Loyola University, University of the State of New York at Buffalo, Roswell Park Memorial Institute and Columbia University in New York City.

Dr. Terranova has a wide spectrum of clinical talents. In addition to being a board eligible periodontist capable of performing a full range of periodontal diagnosis and treatment, Dr. Terranova is also extremly skilled in implant surgery and many phases of oral and maxilla - facial surgery. In 30 years of practice, Dr. Terranova has performed thousands of surgical procedures, including implant placement, periodontal surgery and grafts, sinus augmentation, and simple and complicated tooth extractions including 3rd molar extractions.

In addition to 30 years of clinical experience Dr. Terranova has published over 150 articles in molecular biology of cancer and clinical dentistry.

After his training Dr. Terranova spent seven years as Senior Staff at the National Institutes of Health and National Institute of Dental Research.
